After a long courageous battle with cancer, at Stedman Community Hospice, Brantford on Thursday, September 13, 2012, surrounded by her family and close friends; Sheila Marguerite McDonald of Ayr and formerly of Montreal and Winnipeg, in her 69th year; beloved wife of Jack Shipley; loving step-mother of Kathryn Middleton and Brenda (Ron) Crickmore; Grandma of Richard, Lee Anne, Alyson and Connor; sister of Michael and Timothy (Debbie) McDonald; sister-in-law of Bob and Jane Shipley; and aunt of David Shipley and Deanne (Dean) Jamieson. Sheila was a member of the CFUW. A heartfelt THANK YOU to the Oncology Department at Cambridge Memorial Hospital for over 17 years of compassion and care, and more recently at Stedman Community Hospice, Brantford. A Celebration of Sheila's life will be held at the AYR CHAPEL, Wm. KIPP FUNERAL HOME, 183 Northumberland Street, Ayr on Tuesday, September 18 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation has taken place.
