Life Story for Sune Anderson

After a full and happy life, Sune (Andy) passed away on January 12th, 2008 in Paris, Ontario at the age of 87. He was predeceased by his cherished wife Florence (1998) and is survived by his children Ken Anderson (Carol Cowan) of Drumbo, Heather Sawyer of Markdale, Edith Smith (Fraser Smith) of Lighthouse Point, Florida and Joan Campbell (Jeff Dahl) of Burlington. He will be dearly missed by grandchildren Ryan and Cory Sawyer, Sune Smith and Jesse, Jodie and Tyler Campbell. Born in Sweden and raised in Mt. Forest, ON, he was an RCAF pilot in England and Burma during WWII and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross. He graduated from the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario, then enjoyed a fulfilling career in the advertising industry. His contribution to the community included work with Scouts Canada, Kiwanis, Junior Achievement, Rotary and the United Way. In his leisure time, he enjoyed fishing, gardening, travel, ballroom dancing, music and most importantly, time with his family. Visitation will be on Monday January 14th at the Kipp Funeral Home, 184 Grand River St. N. in Paris at 1 pm followed by the service at 2pm. In memory of Sune, donations to the Alzheimer Society (www.Alzheimerontario.org) would be appreciated.
