Life Story for Wilbur Smith Guthrie

Guthrie, Wilbur Smith
Peacefully, at Parklane Terrace, on Wednesday November 11, 2009. a lifelong farmer in the Paris Plains area, in his 92nd year.
Wilbur was a member of the Paris Lions Club and St.. John’s Masonic Lodge # 82 AF & AM. Paris.
Beloved husband to the late Mildred Sibbick (1979), and the late Elizabeth Williams (1988). Loved father to Robert (the late Donna), Sharon Young (David), Mary Lynn Schira (Nick) and the late Bruce and his surviving wife Jane, cherished grandpa to Martha Sharp (Bill), Jennifer Irvine (Eric), John (Kristine), Jim, Scott Young (Krista), Kevin Young (Sally), Michelle Hagerman (Chris), Stephen Schira, Sarah Steward (Jamie), Megan (Tyler Sager), Michael (friend Amanda) and 13 great grandchildren. Dear uncle to Shirley (Mike) Kellestine, Donna (Cheyenne) Carson–Ashukian, and Lori (Erwin) Carson – Widmer; and their families. Predeceased by 2 sisters Dora Carson and Ruth Guthrie.
Friends may call at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 184 Grand River St. N. Paris, on Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 11:00 AM: with Rev. Lee Haughton officiating. Interment Ayr Cemetery. A Masonic Lodge Service under auspice St. John’s Lodge # 82 AF & AM will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 9:00 PM.
