Gray, William “Bill”
Peacefully, at home, on Sunday February 13, 2011, a lifelong resident of Ayr, in his 82nd year.
Bill ran William Gray Bus Lines for 25 years. He enjoyed woodworking in his retirement and being “Just Bill”
Beloved husband to the late Wilma (nee Marshall (1973); loved companion to Raye Pinnell, dear dad to Dale Ellis (Bob), Wayne (the late Chris), Kim (Sharon), Joanne Collins (Archie), Sherri Morrison, Carol Gray, Kevin, Sandy Stotz (Randy), Colleen Lee (Len), and Tracey Thorne (Junior) and step dad to Lezly Waterhouse, Scott Pinnell (Rose), Virginia Pinnell and Todd Pinnell (Michelle); cherished grandfather to many grandchildren and great grandchildren, also survived by his brother Eric and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his son Roger, his sisters Flo, Lee, and Jill and brothers Bert, Jack and Glen.
Friends may call at the Ayr Chapel. Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 183 Northumberland St. Ayr on Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral Services to be held in the chapel on Thursday at 11:00 AM. Interment Ayr Cemetery.
