At Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Wednesday September 3, 2014; William George Lyttle of Simcoe, in his 80th year; loved husband of Sheila (Haining) for 57 years; dear brother of Garvin “Gary”, Bob, Brent, the late Dennis (1952) and the late Sally Starks (1987); dear Uncle Bill to 9 nieces and nephews; and dear “Uncle” to the Chvostek, Korstanje and Hampson families; also predeceased by his parents Violet and Edmund Lyttle. Bill spent his entire working life at the Hamilton Spectator.
Friends will be received at the Wm. KIPP FUNERAL HOME, 184 Grand River Street North, Paris on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. where funeral service will be held on Wednesday September 10 at 11:00 a.m. Reverend Barbara Fullerton of St. Paul’s United Church, Paris officiating. Interment Paris Cemetery. Donations in Bill’s memory may be made to Camp Trillium Rainbow Lake or your local Alzheimer’s Society.
