Obituary for William James "Jim" Morris

Morris, William James “Jim”
At Home, on Saturday November 7, 2015, after a lengthy and courageous battle with Alzheimer’s, in his 89th year.
Jim was a self less man who enjoyed volunteering with the Paris Lions Club. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. Before retiring Jim worked for 32 years at Penmans; he then served as a custodian at Paris District High School.
Beloved husband to Shirley (nee Zavitz); loved dad to Scott; cherished grandpa to Scotty, Jonathon, Alex, and Nicole; dear brother to Florence Pifher. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Olga Wallace and Lucille Mackie.
Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart RC Church (17 Washington St. Paris) on Wednesday November 11, 2015 at 1:30 PM with Fr. Michael Bennett celebrant.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
