Gord Mitchell

Michelle, Brent and Ken. My heart has been very heavy since hearing the sad news of the passing of your Mum and loving wife. We who remember Heather and how she touched so many lives along her short journey, can only wish you comfort, from the many friends who are near and dear to you, as they help you though this very difficult time. I want to share with you with a poem that has given me comfort at similar sad times in my life. I know that you and your family love nature and hope that when you see nature in it's beauty that Heather shines though to you, like she always did..... Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there,I do not sleep, I am the 1000 winds that blow, I am the diamond glints on fresh fallen snow, I am the sunlight on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn's rain, When you awaken to the morning's hush, I am the swift up lifting rush, of quiet birds in circled flight, I am the soft stars that shine at night, Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there, I did not die. Author Unknown. God bless all of you.... Michelle, Brent and Ken
