Condolence: Dear Ken, Michelle and Brent.
I am extremely sorry to hear about Heather's passing. Heather was such a wonderful person that influenced so many people. I was involved with the plough match of mud on Heather's committee. What a memorable experience, meeting so many people I still remain in contact with. Heather had the ability of seeing a person's strengths and giving them the confidence to achieve what seemed to be the impossible.
I cannot believe that Heather, a person so full of life and energy is gone. I cannot imagine the loss you feel. I hope in time you are able to take strength and comfort in the fact that Heather truly did not waste anytime waiting, Heather made things happen and lived life.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Sincerely,
Cheryl Peck

I was shocked and saddened to hear of the news just this week. I've known Heather since I was very young. Some of the best memories I have are with all of us gathered together, playing games and what not. She will be remembered for her kindness, caring, and thoughtfulness for others.
I wish the best for you all,
Nick

Condolence: Michelle, Brent and Ken. My heart has been very heavy since hearing the sad news of the passing of your Mum and loving wife. We who remember Heather and how she touched so many lives along her short journey, can only wish you comfort, from the many friends who are near and dear to you, as they help you though this very difficult time. I want to share with you with a poem that has given me comfort at similar sad times in my life. I know that you and your family love nature and hope that when you see nature in it's beauty that Heather shines though to you, like she always did.....

Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there,I do not sleep,
I am the 1000 winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on fresh fallen snow,
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn's rain,
When you awaken to the morning's hush, I am the swift up lifting rush, of quiet birds in circled flight,
I am the soft stars that shine at night,
Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there, I did not die.

God bless all of you.... Michelle, Brent and Ken

Condolence: My sincere condolences to Heather's family and friends. I remember Heather as a brightly burning flame who warmed and shed light on everyone she came into contact with. She passed on this flame through all aspects of her life, and along with her family, friends and students, I now carry the warm memory of this compassionate, dedicated, optimistic and amazing woman within me. She will be greatly missed.

Condolence: I was at the Vineland Station when Heather worked there. She would pop into my office with a pocket full of sunshine, an infectious smile, and boundless enthusiasm. She made coming to work a joy for everyone there. And I just know she would have affected everyone she met this same way throughout her life.
I can’t imagine how much Ken, Michelle and Brent will miss her. Our deepest sympathy to all in the extended family.
