Dear Shirley Dan, Greg, Bob and Carol and families What a punch in the head! Especially when you can't fight back. Shirley, you know how much Jim meant to me. My friendship with Jim, as Bob will remember goes back to the 1950's in Eagle Place. As I told Jim many times, over the years I feel that he was the best athlete that ever came out of Eagle Place. Jim and I were planning to get together with our two Shirley's next summer when I bought another car and go for a ride somewhere. That is one beautiful happening that will never take place. We always think we have lots of time to do things. Some of us no longer have that luxury. We have to learn not to wait any more. I enjoyed learning to play hockey from watching Jim when we with a gang kids played on the Grand River at Turtle Bay. Jim was always a happy family man who loved his wife and boys dearly. They were never far from his thoughts and his world revolved around them. Jim was a man's man. I am so proud tohave known him. With his passing a chunk of me goes also and my world becomes a little smaller. My sincerest Condolencs Cam
