A very close friend passed away, and many were grieving. His sister was promised: “Your brother will rise.” Martha then expressed her confidence in that promise by saying: “I know he will rise in the resurrection on the last day.” That’s the same confidence you can have too, that soon now, those we’ve lost will return to life in a future resurrection.
