Kim Melbourne (daughter of John Harder)

To Uncle Jim and all my cousins. I remember when we were young and visited your family for weekend BBQ's. You were always such a close family and Auntie Pat was always smiling and full of happiness. Visiting you guys has always been one of my favourite memories of my childhood. I do think about my cousins and Uncle Jim and Auntie Pat often remembering our visits to Paris/London/Branford (I think I got the city names correct). We had a lot of fun. At a get together at my Dad’s, several years ago, in Ottawa, Auntie Pat took the time to befriend my youngest son Drew. She fed him corn and he ate it all! Her gentle manor allowed him to feel a bit more comfortable in a house full of strangers. I will remember Auntie Pat as a generous, supportive lady and fascinating to talk to. Love your cousin Kim (the oldest of the Harder cousins! Yikes)
