Mrs. Cochrane, the mother of my girlhood friend Deborah, is someone who stands out in my memory. I can hear her voice as if she were standing right here. Her humour, her ease and her grounded way of being in the world impressed me. As an adolescent she was the friend's mom I was most comfortable with. I am grateful for this opportunity to express condolences to Deborah, Ross, Jane and their families. I will light a candle in my home in Gibson's British Columbia. Blessings, Love Sally
