Life Story for William Edward "Ed" Hibbert

Peacefully, surrounded by his family at Brantford General Hospital on Monday, November 19, 2007; a longtime resident Paris in his 87th year; Ed served overseas in the Second World War and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #29 Paris. He was well known in the community as a friendly man who had time to chat. Beloved husband to the late Dorothy (nee Herman) (1992); loved dad to Ron (Linda) of Paris; cherished grandpa to Lisa Evans (Chris), David, and the late Aaron (1988); great grandpa to Gage and Brody; dear brother to Lottie Ransom, brother-in-law to Bessie Herman, cousin to Margaret Tomlinson and dear friend to Doris Stewart. Friends may call at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 184 Grand River St. N. Paris on Thursday, November 22 from 1-2 p.m. Funeral Service to follow in the chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Father Geroge Elson officiaitng. A Legion Servive under auspice Royal Canadian Legion Branch #29 will be held during funeral service. Interment Paris Cemetery. Donations to the Poppy Fund or the charity of choice would be appreciated.
