Dear Hancock family, Yesterday, I learned of Don's passing, and I wish to extend my sincere condolences. As a former Member of the RCMP, I first met Don in Ottawa where we shared an interest in aviation as members of the Ottawa Radio Control Club. In fact Don was my first instructor. Don was a quiet technical specialist when it came to the aviation field. Indeed he was ahead of his time in the early 1980s when he installed a camera in the fuselage of a model aircraft and took ariel photographs of the flying field. I lost contact with Don over the years due to frequent transfers with the Force. Don will always be remembered. Barry Kingdon Okotoks, Alberta.
